Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Education Specialist to join our team full-time. This on-site role is based in Queens, NY, and is responsible for developing and delivering educational programming, facilitating group and individual learning sessions, and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment. The Education Specialist will design and implement curriculum, evaluate program outcomes, and provide ongoing support to learners to ensure their personal and academic growth. Collaboration with team members, community partners, and families will be key to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Curriculum Development, Lesson Planning, and Educational Program Design
- Experience in Individual and Group Instruction, Mentoring, and Classroom Facilitation
- Proficient Communication, Organization, and Leadership skills
- Ability to build partnerships with community organizations and work collaboratively with a team
- Knowledge of diverse learning methods and ability to create an inclusive, supportive environment
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field is required
- Experience in community-based education or youth programs is highly desirable
