JOB DESCRIPTION
1.0 JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER for Quantum Controls, Inc. is responsible for:
1.1 Providing the leadership and direction to sustain the department’s growth within the framework of the budget and long-range goals.
1.2 Seeking new opportunities to expand basic services to existing profitable customers and add new customers. This includes negotiations concerning new services and alliances with other subcontractors.
1.3 Overseeing and directing all aspects of their Projects, concentrating on forward planning, job and personnel management and bidding.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Requires field experience, at least five (5) years managing construction crews in difficult and sophisticated job conditions. Also requires journeyman level understanding of the technology, blueprint reading, construction methodology, site inspections, and OSHA safety requirements. Experience should also include all of the pre-construction activities: take offs, estimating, bidding, purchasing, architect and GC job meetings and project reviews.
3.2 This individual must be a strong manager, be able to motivate and train both entry through expert level employees, and deal with clients, owners, General Contractors.
3.3 Focus and lead the Company’s sales efforts.
3.3.1 Maintain and update a list of A prospects, assure we make some contact with these prospects every 3 months.
3.3.2 Review and revise the current bidding strategy to reflect our labor availability.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
