The Role
We're looking for an experienced Foreman to lead our crews in the field and own the day-to-day execution of our commercial construction projects. - Communicate progress, roadblocks, and field changes to the Project Manager and Superintendent
- Maintain daily logs, photo documentation, and timecards
- Inspect work in progress to ensure it meets APD's quality standards and project specifications
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly — escalating when needed
- Set the tone on site: professional, organized, and respectful of the client's space
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of commercial construction field experience, with 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong working knowledge of commercial fit-outs, tenant improvements, and renovations
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
- Comfortable using project management tools and field reporting apps (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar)
- Strong communication skills — clear with crews, clients, and the office
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to project sites across Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic
- A reputation for getting things done the right way
Nice to Have
- Trade certifications (carpentry, general construction, etc.)
- First Aid / CPR certification
- Experience working in occupied commercial spaces (offices, retail, hospitality)
