Job Overview
This position is NOT entry-level.
Black Lion Construction is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Foreman to lead residential and commercial construction projects while actively working alongside your crew. This position requires a highly skilled individual with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities who can keep projects on schedule, maintain quality standards, and manage day-to-day operations in the field.
As a Foreman, you will be responsible for executing high-quality renovations, ensuring every detail aligns with design specifications and industry standards. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional spaces that enhance homeowner’s lifestyles.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive remodeling tasks including prepping showers/baths for tile installation, installing tile, flooring installation for bathrooms, kitchens and other home renovations
- Perform skilled carpentry, drywall, trim work, and other remodeling tasks
- Communicate professionally with homeowner’s and commercial clients
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience required
- Experience in: Bathroom and kitchen remodels
- Strong skills in tiling, carpentry, drywall, trim, and general remodeling
- Comfortable solving problems and making decisions on-site
- Reliable, professional, and takes pride in quality of work
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing crews and subcontractors
- Knowledge of residential and commercial building codes
- Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely
- OSHA certification is a plus
