Production Material Control

Brief Description

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining a steady flow of materials to meet production requirements and fulfill customer orders. The position requires strong collaboration with multiple departments, including the program manager, warehouse, receiving team, procurement team and vendor if needed. These roles play an essential role in ensuring efficient manufacturing processes across various departments.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide a daily production schedule that is based on the visibility of materials.
• Initiate the work order to the production line to build the product in order to fulfill the customer's requirements.
• Maintain daily reports on input, output, and shipment to monitor if there is any risk of failing to meet our commitments to the customer.
• Track of material deliveries to ensure we receive them on time and in the correct quantities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the working orders are running smoothly on the production line.
• Coordinate with the vendor to discuss a material pulling schedule that aligns with the mass production schedule.

• Able to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and use time effectively.
• Hours can be flexible to execute the responsibilities of the position.
• Fluent in the use of computers and software programs.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1-2 years of similar industry experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft’s software is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in server, storage, and PC products is plus.
