Duties/Responsibilities
- Work w/in an existing infrastructure for EHS needs.
- Ensure the successful EHS quality & recommend how to improve the processes.
- Ensure the facility’s EHS standards are maintained and updated.
- Be professionally, managerially & administratively responsible for cross function EHS management.
- Knowledgeable in hazard communication program, SDS, labeling, storage, and handling of chemicals.
- Be able to assist in identification and training of EHS procedures and personal protective equipment.
- Maintains a current working knowledge of International, State, Federal and local laws as they pertain to EHS function to ensure organizational compliance. Ensures that these laws and regulations are represented and accounted for in company policies, procedures, objectives, and goals.
- Serve as point of contact in areas effecting safety by establishing and maintaining safety programs and all required safety training records and OSHA 300 reports.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA, NFPA, and IBC.
- Entry level knowledge in ISO 14064-1 and GHG Emission.
- Must be detailed and strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or EHS related field.
- OSHA certified and First-Aid trained preferred.
- 2 years in EHS practice.
