Position Summary:
Meet the daily order deadline by efficiently transferring and compiling parts according to a system-generated pick list. Ensure parts are kitted, labeled and packaged according to department specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Read, understand and follow work instructions related to assigned tasks.
- Pick and prepare parts in an efficient manner, meeting internal, incremental deadlines.
- Accurately complete applicable paperwork or QMS updates.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Comply with all safety standards and guidelines.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Detail oriented with ability to follow directions precisely.
- Computer literate in a Windows environment.
- Written and spoken English skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to distinguish between colors with good visual acuity.
- Able to squat, stoop, twist, and bend.
- Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
- Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays
- Able to work in warehouse environment.
- Able to handle routine assignments of a repetitive nature.
- Able to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment; hearing protection as required.
- Able to wear ESD protection as required.
- Able to operate a pallet jack.
