Leads the Hardware Engineering team to resolve issues; communicates between customer, Corporate Team, onsite team, and vendors to discover the root cause and ensure the NPI product is delivered on time.
Essential Functions
- Lead Hardware Engineering team to solve technical issues timely.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and customers, to complete projects successfully.
- Analyze failures and collaborate with R&D team to discover the root cause.
- Manage and guide the transition of new products into production.
- Analyze test data and suggest improvements to the manufacturing process.
- Review and guide the troubleshooting/repair direction.
- Train Hardware Engineers.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.
- Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes preferred.
- Experience in designing circuit boards preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to operate an oscilloscope and Digital multi-meter
- Ability to review hardware schematic circuits.
- Ability to use Allegro to review layouts.
- Proficiency in server/storage/PC hardware architecture
- Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about production and warehouse facilities.
