QMN currently occupies nine (9) facilities in the Antioch/LaVergne area with over 3000 employees...and GROWING! 

We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!

Position Summary:

Responsible for daily management of outbound shipments.  Must effectively coordinate internally with Operations to determine units that are available to ship and externally with carriers to arrange pick-up and shipment of units.

Essential Functions:

·         Outbound Shipment Processing.

·         Schedule and coordinate daily outbound shipments.

·         Ensure timely dispatch of goods in accordance with customer requirements and delivery timelines.

·         Verify shipment contents and packaging standards.

·         Liaise with freight forwarders and carriers to arrange transportation.

·         Obtain and compare freight quotes to optimize cost and delivery performance.

·         Track shipments and resolve any transit-related issues.

·         Documentation & Invoicing.

·         Prepare and review shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and export declarations.

·         Ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations.

·         Generate invoices and ensure proper documentation is sent to customers and internal departments.

·         SAP Inventory Management

·         Use SAP to manage inventory transactions related to outbound shipments.

·         Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure availability.

·         Maintain accurate records of goods shipped and inventory adjustments.

·         Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and applicable laws.

·         Maintain records for audits and reporting purposes.

·         Provide regular updates and reports to management on shipping activities.

Education and Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.

·         2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.

Other Skills and Abilities:

·         Proficiency in SAP (MM/SD modules preferred).

·         Strong understanding of international shipping documentation and freight coordination.

·         Excellent organizational and communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

·         Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·         Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.

·         Familiarity with Incoterms and export compliance.

·         Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.

Physical Requirements:

·         Sit for prolonged period.
