Accounts Payable Supervisor / Lead

Position Summary

Quanta Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Accounts Payable Supervisor / Lead to oversee daily accounts payable operations and supervise a team of two Accounting Coordinators. This role is responsible for preparing payment proposals, reviewing invoices, managing vendor credits, researching customer payments, reconciling accounts payable balances, and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

·        Supervise, train, and support two Accounting Coordinators.

·        Review and approve invoices for accuracy, coding, and proper authorization.

·        Prepare weekly and monthly payment proposals and coordinate payment processing.

·        Reconcile accounts payable accounts and vendor statements.

·        Research and resolve customer payment and account discrepancies.

·        Process and track vendor credit memos, returns, and adjustments.

·        Investigate invoice variances and resolve vendor inquiries.

·        Monitor AP aging and ensure obligations are paid in accordance with company policies.

·        Support month-end and year-end close activities.

·        Assist with audits and maintain strong internal controls.

·        Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiencies.

Qualifications

·        Associate’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

·        3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

·        Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

·        Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and internal controls.

·        Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

·        Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
