EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION YOU WILL NEED
- 6 years of progressive retail buying experience
- Experience with buyer hardware items
- Proven success in vendor negotiations and product assortment planning
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and margin management skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities - bilingual strongly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Lead product selection, pricing, and negotiations to meet sales and profit goals
- Manage SKU assortment within space and operational constraints
- Develop vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms
- Conduct market research and source new vendor partnerships
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize buying strategies
