Customer Order Specialist – Medical Device Manufacturing
QUICK FACTS
- Location: Remote
- Pay range: $20/hr or $22/hr depending on location
- Duration: Contract through end of 2026, potential to convert to permanent
- Shift: Monday through Friday (8) hour shift, with start times between 5am – 8:45am PT
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION YOU WILL NEED
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a phone-based customer service role
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Familiarity with checking health insurance benefits is helpful
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to process orders efficiently and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with de-escalating customers
- Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Responsible for processing timely customer orders by receiving inbound calls to initiate supply reorders and provide customer service
- Processes all aspects of the order process for customers by:
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Collecting and updating patient and insurance information
- Documenting customer requests accurately and efficiently
- Anticipating problems and initiating actions to ensure customers’ orders are processed and shipped efficiently
- Proactively communicating backorders/delivery dates to the customer and processing customer orders to completion
