Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive business growth by engaging with potential clients through outbound calling, nurturing customer relationships, and promoting our innovative stone solutions. Your excellent communication skills and sales expertise will help expand our market presence and deliver exceptional customer service. This position reports to our Sales Director and will require 10-15% travel as needed.
Duties
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients, including builders, architects, and suppliers, to generate new business opportunities
- Engage in warm calling to nurture existing leads and maintain ongoing customer relationships
- Present product features and benefits clearly, emphasizing the value of our stone solutions for various projects
- Utilize CRM software such as HubSpot to track leads, update customer information, and manage sales pipelines
- Collaborate with our Estimating team, Account Executive team and Marketing Manager to develop targeted outreach strategies that boost sales efforts
- Follow up on lost opportunities to capture new business
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to generate leads confidently
- Proven experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales and door-opening/telemarketing techniques
- Knowledge of technology sales tools including CRM software like HubSpot
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with technical sales processes related to building materials or construction products
- Ability to conduct outbound calling campaigns with enthusiasm and persistence
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term client relationships
- Business development skills to identify new market opportunities and expand client base
