What to expect:
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive bids for commercial electrical construction projects across the Maryland Eastern Shore and Southern Delaware. This role supports business growth by analyzing plans, coordinating pricing, and helping secure profitable work in a regional, relationship-driven market.

Work Location: Cambridge, Maryland
What you will get to do:
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and bid packages for commercial, industrial and multi-family residential projects
- Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs for wiring, conduit, panels, lighting, and controls
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid proposals based on project scope
- Solicit and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing from local and regional suppliers
- Identify risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities
- Work closely with Director of Engineering for accurate labor projections
You will bring these qualifications:
Experience Level: Mid-Level
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 2 years of construction estimating, commercial construction experience, or electrical estimating experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and experience with estimation software
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Driven, self-starter with proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of regional pricing, labor availability, and subcontractor network
- Familiarity with project management processes a plus
Shift & Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
