Role Description This full-time Skilled Labor role is an on-site position based in Tampa, FL. The individual in this role will support renovation and restoration projects by performing tasks such as demolition, material handling, basic carpentry, drywall installation and repair, painting, and job site cleanup. Daily responsibilities include following project plans and directions from supervisors, safely operating hand and power tools, and assisting trades professionals with installation work. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards, and communicating effectively with team members and site leads. The Skilled Labor team member will be expected to arrive on time, work across multiple job sites in the Tampa area, and contribute to high-quality project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in basic construction tasks such as demolition, framing support, drywall work, painting, and general repairs.
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools and follow written and verbal instructions on active job sites.
- Commitment to job site safety, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to OSHA or company safety guidelines.
- Reliable transportation to Tampa, FL and nearby job sites, with the ability to work full-time, including occasional extended hours as projects require.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks as part of renovation and restoration work.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial construction, remodeling, or disaster restoration is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant trade certifications or on-the-job training are a plus.
- Must be able to pass background check, drug screening, and provide a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Salary Range $24-$30/hr - Overtime pay, available.
