What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Entry/Receiving Associate position at Quality Paint & Coatings?
SUMMARY
The Receiving/Order entry processor is responsible for the processing and coordination of part orders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Releases, collates and scans orders to shop floor personnel
- Creation and tracking of travelers
- Prioritizes orders according to needs
- Matches shipped orders/packing lists with invoices
- Maintains communication with shop floor on amount of workload throughout the day and notifies of detailed or special request packing instructions
- Communicates to Order Entry personnel daily on order changes, special/rush shipments, order tracking data, order weights and dimensions
- Ensures customers receive correct order information through mail or fax
- Inspects products for quality
- Verify unit count against packing list and receiving documents
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 or more years' experience in supply chain management, logistics, purchasing, business administration or related field
- 1 or more years’ experience related to inventory management or purchasing
- Strong organizational skills are critical; ability to handle multiple task simultaneously
- Strong customer service orientation
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, understands the importance of follow-up and maintaining open communication
- Must be able to endure extended periods of sitting, typing, lifting, pulling, pushing, walking, standing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience with Epicor software- Knowledge of paint and coatings industry and processes
- Knowledge of DoD regulations, processes, and procedures
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Epicore ERP software
Salary : $20 - $23
