RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Speech Therapist (SLP), your primary responsibility is the improvement of resident functionality through therapy.
- Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient's function
- Administer speech therapy program utilization specialized therapeutic technique and / or equipment
- Recommend communication devices / aids as indicated
- Confer with referring physician and other organizational personnel to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Prepare and submit notes per organization policy
- Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practice and theory
REQUIREMENTS:
- Speech-language pathologist license, in good standing with the state
- 1 year clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CPR Certification
