Janitorial Supervisor

Position Overview
Quality Janitorial Group is seeking an experienced Lead Janitor for a dynamic Working Supervisor role. This position combines hands-on cleaning operations with basic team leadership. You will support daily cleaning tasks on-site while guiding team members, ensuring high-quality standards, and reporting directly to the Facilities Manager. This is a full-time position with a standard daily schedule, but it requires flexibility to assist during needed times and unexpected coverage gaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Task Direction: Help direct daily tasks for team members onsite.
• Staff Training: Assist with training new staff on cleaning procedures and site expectations.
• Coverage Support: Fill in when staff call outs or time off requests occur to assist the Facilities Manager as needed, this could be a    different location within your Managers buildings.
• Work Environment: Help maintain a safe, professional, and productive work environment.
• Janitorial Duties: Perform routine janitorial duties alongside the team.
• Quality Inspections: Inspect completed work to ensure absolute quality and completion.
• Management Reporting: Report staffing, supply, or service concerns directly to the Facilities Manager.
• Professional Development: Attend monthly safety meetings and other mandatory company training sessions.

Qualifications

• Janitorial Experience: Prior commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is required.
• Leadership: Prior leadership or staff training experience is preferred.
• Key Attributes: Must be dependable, organized, flexible, and able to communicate clearly.
• Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform routine physical labor.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 10 pounds without accommodation.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
