Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and hygienic
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways and public spaces
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms and public areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning tasks, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintain detailed records of completed cleaning tasks and report any damages or repairs needed
- Assist with janitorial duties in other hotel areas as required to support overall operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently and safely using appropriate equipment
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods during shifts
- Previous experience in hotel or janitorial management is a plus but not mandatory
