Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times
• Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures when using chemicals and equipment to promote a safe environment for yourself and colleagues
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues that require attention
• Assist with special cleaning projects like carpet shampooing or industrial cleaning tasks as needed to maintain overall hotel hygiene

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping is highly preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning
• Familiarity with hotel operations or experience in hospitality settings is a strong advantage
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or equipment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
