Duties
- Conduct nightly financial audits by reconciling guest accounts, reservations, and property management system (PMS) data using systems like OPERA or similar hotel management software
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including daily summaries, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with effective customer service problem-solving skills to enhance guest satisfaction
- Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance and perform routine safety checks in accordance with hotel emergency procedures
- Handle phone communication with guests, vendors, and internal departments using proper phone etiquette and clear client communication skills
- Support hotel management by assisting with reservations, updating guest information in property management systems (PMS), and ensuring compliance with hospitality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems such as OPERA or comparable property management systems (PMS)
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving under pressure
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest safety during overnight hours
- Excellent phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette
- Previous resort or hotel experience is preferred to handle the unique demands of hospitality environments
