Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Handle all laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care.
- Conduct dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate or special garments to ensure proper care and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas to ensure availability of essentials like toiletries, towels, and linens.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting linens or standing for extended periods.
