Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or public areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Care for floors by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and applying protective finishes to ensure they remain spotless and well-maintained.
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, towels, and other supplies to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.
• Follow established protocols for cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supplies usage to support inventory management and quality control.
• Collaborate with team members and management to meet daily cleaning schedules while maintaining flexibility to adapt to special requests or urgent needs.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations related to janitorial work, including proper handling of chemicals and sanitation practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning roles such as hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and use of industrial cleaning equipment.
• Experience working within the hospitality industry or in environments requiring meticulous attention to cleanliness is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and moving furniture when necessary.
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure no area is overlooked.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and understand guest or resident needs.
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
