Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain impeccable hygiene standards
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Maintain floor care by applying appropriate cleaning techniques for carpets, tiles, hardwoods, and other flooring types to ensure longevity and safety
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or clients’ specific cleaning requests with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage sanitation procedures diligently to prevent the spread of germs and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling cleaning routines for optimal efficiency
• Execute janitorial responsibilities in both residential and commercial settings with attention to detail and safety protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry handling
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with residents or clients
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus; hotel experience can be advantageous
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to sanitation and cleaning procedures
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed to meet the demands of the role
