Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth operation of the breakfast service. The ideal candidate will have restaurant experience, culinary skills, and familiarity with POS systems to efficiently process transactions. This position requires working on weekends and involves engaging with guests to create a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items in accordance with quality standards and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems
- Assist in replenishing food supplies and ensuring all items are stocked and presentable
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and requests
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy breakfast hours
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, especially in a breakfast or hospitality setting
- Culinary experience is advantageous for food preparation tasks
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing cash transactions is required
- Ability to work weekends is essential, as the role involves weekend shifts
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are important for success in this role
Pay: $13.25 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 28.0 per week
