Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring safe use and disposal
• Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces throughout the hotel
• Manage heavy lifting tasks involving linens, cleaning equipment, and supplies with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times
• Conduct routine inspections of public areas including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and recreational spaces to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
• Maintain accurate custodial records and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly for swift resolution

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping management with a strong understanding of industry standards
• Skilled in handling chemical agents safely while adhering to health regulations and SDS guidelines
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety protocols for heavy lifting and repetitive motions
• Expertise in floor care techniques including mopping, buffing, carpet extraction, and industrial cleaning methods
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices to coordinate daily tasks effectively and ensure guest satisfaction
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures to respond swiftly during safety incidents or emergencies
• Strong custodial experience combined with hospitality skills that emphasize attention to detail and customer service excellence
