This role is designed for a sales professional who blends hunter mentality with long-term account ownership. As a Strategic Account Executive, you’ll drive new business growth while managing and expanding relationships with financial institution clients. You’ll operate with autonomy, partner closely with internal teams, and play a key role in expanding QDS’s footprint across banks and credit unions.
The Role
The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for both new business development and strategic account growth. You’ll prospect and sell to banks and credit unions while also managing assigned customer relationships to ensure long-term value, expansion, and satisfaction.
This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying role that requires executive presence, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate complex needs into compelling solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Become a subject matter expert across all QDS solutions and services.
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with banks and credit unions.
- Manage financial institutions within an assigned territory and/or strategic account list.
- Own and grow existing customer relationships, driving retention and expansion.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with prospects, clients, and stakeholders.
- Lead discovery sessions, sales meetings, and presentations with prospective and existing clients.
- Clearly communicate ROI, cost-benefit analyses, and business impact.
- Create, present, and manage proposals; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory considerations, and challenges facing financial institutions.
- Engage with the broader financial services community.
- Represent QDS at industry events, trade shows, and user group meetings.
- Collaborate closely with vendors and internal teams throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account data in CRM (HubSpot).
- Build and maintain a professional LinkedIn presence through posting, commenting, and industry engagement.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience selling to financial institutions preferred.
