Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD services thousands of restaurants throughout the United States. Providing over 37,000 deliveries a week from 25 strategically located distribution centers, the QCD fleet averages more than 40 million miles driven per year. In This Role, You’ll
- Perform daily transportation duties while serving as a lead resource for the driver team.
- Assist with scheduling, route coverage, and shift coordination to support smooth operations.
- Support the Driver Supervisor/Transportation Manager in monitoring performance, addressing concerns, and reinforcing company policies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance needs promptly. Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport and deliver products, including managing backhauls.
- Train, mentor, and support new drivers, reinforcing safety and service standards.
- Act as the first point of escalation for on-route issues, ensuring timely communication with dispatch and leadership.
- Promote and model a culture of safety, compliance, and teamwork across the driver group
- A valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience
- Ability to lift 5–75 lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
- Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
- Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations
- Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
- All trailers equipped with lift gates - no ramps
- Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 75 lbs
- Starting pay: $28.00/hour
- Weekly pay (every Friday)
