Job Summary
The Caregiver/CNA is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and provides personal care and support services to meet the client’s needs.
Weekend caregivers play a key role in maintaining consistency of care, supporting clients during high-need times, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities
Provide in-home care and ensure client safety
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and repositioning as needed
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment
Medication reminders (in accordance with care plan)
Accompany clients on outings or assist with errands if needed
Provide companionship and emotional support
Monitor client condition and report any changes or concerns
Follow care plan instructions
Accurate documentation/charting
Toileting/Perineal Care (Required)
Qualifications
Caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or similar setting)
Ability to travel within the New Braunfels area
Access to a mobile phone for communication and documentation
Reliable, compassionate, and dependable
Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans
Availability to work weekend shifts (required)
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
