Position Overview
We are hiring experienced Production Welders (Level II-III) to support fabrication and manufacturing operations. This role involves performing a variety of welding and metal fabrication tasks while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding using MIG, TIG, wire feed, spot welding, and oxy-acetylene torch methods
- Prepare, clean, and finish welds to meet quality standards
- Set up materials and layouts using hand tools or material handling equipment
- Operate grinders, sanders, wire wheels, and other finishing tools
- Weld structural components such as I-beams, frames, and tanks in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead)
- Assemble components using methods such as clamping, tack welding, drilling, tapping, cutting, and bolting
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Inspect welds and completed assemblies; perform rework when needed
- Adjust welding equipment, including wire and gas changes, as required
- Ensure proper setup and safe operation of all welding equipment
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Support pressure testing of fabricated parts when required
- Complete assigned work within established production timelines and quality expectations
- Accurately track work completed and time using company systems
- Report any material, quality, or safety concerns to supervisors
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with welding and fabrication tools/equipment
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic math calculations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production welding environment
- MIG welding certification
- TIG welding experience or certification
- Technical or vocational training in welding or fabrication
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to cross-train and take on additional tasks
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Problem-solving mindset with minimal supervision
