MUST:
1 years of medical office experience in a private medical office
Scribe experience
Looking for a medical assistant who has strong typing skills
Ability to room positions, take vitals and histories
Experience calling in prescriptions
Checking patients in and out
EMR experience
Ability to verify insurance
Strong customer service skills
DUTIES:
The duties of the Medical Assistant-include but are not limited to the following:
Room patients
Draw blood
Assist physicians with cutting edge procedures
Take histories
Process prescriptions
Obtain histories and update EMR
Write orders for tests and physical therapy
Triage patients over the phone and assist with scheduling appointments
Call in prescriptions
