Performs field inspections on transportation construction projects including paving, materials verification testing and compliance, mix design, subgrade and compaction, asphalt placement, utility coordination, grading, drainage, curb, sidewalk, ADA ramps, traffic control evaluation.
Openess to travel across the state is highly desired. Perdiem, company truck provided.
Identifies any deviations from specified construction procedures and notifies supervisor
Documents all observations of the construction progress to include daily diaries and inspection activities.
Required ACI / ATTI Field Certifications
NICET, ATSSA, SWPPP addtional certifications for advanced inspectors
GED/HS Diploma with 2-7 years related engineering experience
