What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freight Broker (Cradle-to-Grave) position at QQR Logistics?
Freight Broker (Cradle-to-Grave)
QQR Logistics | Fort Worth, Texas & Cincinnati, Ohio (U.S.)
Company Description
QQR Logistics and QQR Transport keep critical freight moving for supply chains that can't afford to stop. We combine QQR Transport's owned assets, a large vetted dedicated carrier network, and QQR Logistics 3PL brokerage capacity — giving shippers contract and surge capacity, disciplined execution, and one accountable, loyal team focused on service and safety. QQR moves freight across North America and global trade lanes — including U.S.–Canada and U.S.–Mexico cross-border — for mission-critical supply chains in automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, aerospace, energy, and more.
Role Overview
We're seeking experienced freight brokers who operate in a full cradle-to-grave capacity and are ready to grow their book of business in a performance-driven, fully remote environment. This role is built for proven producers who already manage an active book of business and want the tools, support, and flexibility to scale it further. If you want a company that lets you operate independently while providing the infrastructure to grow, this is the opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full freight lifecycle: prospect → quote → book → cover → track → close.
- Leverage and expand your existing book of business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Negotiate rates and manage profitability across your freight.
- Operate independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
What You Bring (Required)
- 2 years of experience as a cradle-to-grave freight broker.
- An active, transferable book of business.
- Proven track record of consistent production.
- Strong customer relationships with repeat freight.
- Ability to work remotely and independently.
- Experience using TMS and CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar a plus).
Tools & Support Provided
- Access to HubSpot for pipeline and customer management.
- Access to ZoomInfo for prospecting and business development.
- A leading, AI- and automation-driven TMS platform.
- Full back-office support: billing, collections, carrier setup, and compliance.
- Strong internal team support so you can stay focused on selling and growing.
What Sets You Apart
- Consistent, repeatable production.
- Established customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to grow and scale your book of business.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months, you will transition and grow your existing book of business on QQR's platform, deepen your shipper and carrier relationships, increase load volume and margin across your freight, and build a repeatable pipeline that supports continued growth.
