Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to schedule, document, and track maintenance activities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and other mechanical devices to ensure safety and operational reliability.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing tools to analyze electrical circuits and mechanical components.
- Execute welding tasks, including
welding techniques, ensuring high-quality workmanship in fabrications or repairs. - Maintain compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, low voltage electrical systems, and industrial mechanic practices.
Skills
- Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance principles.
- Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of CMMS platforms for effective maintenance planning and record keeping.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including
welding), and precision measuring instruments. - Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by industrial electrician experience; ability to work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely.
- Field service experience in industrial or manufacturing settings with excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.
- Analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely; familiarity with military maintenance standards is a plus.
- Fluency in English; effective communication skills are essential for documentation and team collaboration.
