Role Description
This is a contract role for a Senior Advanced Test Engineer located on-site in Phoenix, AZ. The individual will be responsible for designing and managing test plans, executing test cases, performing functional testing, and ensuring product quality throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, the engineer will analyze requirements, identify issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute Environmental & EMI qualification testing (DO-160)
• Perform Validation & Verification testing on electronic hardware
• Support FAA certification and regulatory compliance
• Generate detailed test reports and document non-compliance
Must-Have Experience:
✔ 6 years in Hardware/Product Engineering
✔ Strong background in Environmental and/or EMI testing
✔ Experience with avionics qualification standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810)
Nice to Have:
• Hardware verification testing
• Optical/display testing instrumentation
• Knowledge of avionics systems and electronic displays
