BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Sr Advanced Test Engineer to join our client’s site in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support Qualification and Verification testing efforts for advanced avionics products. You will work alongside a team of talented engineers, contributing to the development and sustainment of electronic hardware products by performing and documenting Qualification and Verification tests. You will be part of a group of committed professionals supporting state-of-the-art products for new business aviation aircraft.

Candidate Questions (to be answered on resume):
- Describe the products for which you have led or participated in qualification testing. To what extent?
- Describe the environmental tests you have witnessed or defined for electronic products.
- Which laboratory electronics test hardware are you proficient with?
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on avionics products.
- Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance.
- Assist in product certification for customer and regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance.
- Communicate non-compliance incidents to pertinent parties.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4 years of experience in Hardware/Product Engineering.
- Experience in Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Product Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of electronic display principles.
- Basic knowledge of hardware engineering standards and specifications.
- Experience with Hardware Verification testing.
- Experience with optical testing/evaluation instrumentation for electronic display characterization.
- Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems, or processes.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
