Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Monitor neurological status and patient conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes
- Deliver safe, effective, evidence-based critical care nursing
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary clinical teams
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
- Support mentorship and professional development within the care team
- Uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional nursing standards
- Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and code of conduct
- Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Critical care or ICU nursing experience preferred
- Experience managing neurological or high-acuity patients preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and patient monitoring skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Strong patient advocacy and commitment to patient- and family-centered care
