Overview:
PWR Staffing is seeking a mid-senior level Controls/Automation Technician to support manufacturing operations through technical expertise in automation systems, equipment maintenance, and process improvements. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing automated equipment, including CNC machines, conveyors, and robotics.
Key responsibilities include supporting production through electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with automation design and upgrades. The ideal candidate has experience with manufacturing process controls, strong troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of systems such as Allen Bradley and/or Fanuc.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Automated Manufacturing, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience in these areas.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing process controls
- Allen Bradley and/or Fanuc controls expertise
- Experience with automation systems, hardware, and computer operations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
