Job Summary
The team at P's is growing! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager, with responsibilities across Food & Beverage (we're more bar than restaurant, which means helping execute cocktail mixers along with our Front of House team is really important). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, food preparation, and kitchen leadership. This role is essential for ensuring that our business runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while maintaining world class standards for hospitality.
Schedule
- Wednesday 2PM - 10PM
- Friday 8AM - 4PM
- Saturday 7:30AM - 3:30PM
- Sunday 7:30AM - 3:30PM
Pay
- Average tipped pay rate in 2025: $22/hour
- $16/hour plus an average of $6/hour in pooled tips amongst small team working weekday mornings

Duties
- Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and development to enhance their skills.
- Oversee food & beverage/mixer preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency in all menu items.
- Develop and maintain processes for kitchen operations, including inventory control and cost management.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for tracking orders and managing inventory.
- Collaborate to coordinate monthly special menu offerings, including for catering/private parties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Monitor supply inventory, and prep lists.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a kitchen role within a quick service food restaurant or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Experience in budgeting and cost control within a food service setting.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively.
- Experience - or in the very least interest - in wine and cocktail pairings.
- Passion for coffee preparation is a plus, enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a high functioning team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
