Job Description:
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of experience in:
- Cost accounting and/or financial analysis
- Manufacturing plant or operations finance
- Strong experience with:
- Standard costing
- Variance analysis
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Month-end close, journal entries, and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office
- Experience working with ERP systems (standard costing modules required)
- Ability to collaborate with operations, engineering, and plant leadership
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP
- CPA or CMA certification (plus, not required)
- Experience with:
- CAPEX tracking
- Physical inventory processes
- SOX compliance
- BOM accuracy and cost maintenance
- Background supporting plant controllers or manufacturing leadership teams
Key Responsibilities (Search-Oriented)
- Analyze plant operating costs, variances, and earned hours
- Support monthly forecasting and performance tracking
- Maintain and report on CAPEX spend vs. budget
- Perform month-end close activities and financial analysis
- Partner with engineering to validate Bills of Materials
- Support audits, inventory counts, and standard cost updates
- Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and cost controls
