Position SummaryThe Finance Analyst is responsible for analyzing cost and operational data for the Ironton, Ohio manufacturing plant. This role partners closely with the Plant Operations team, supporting accurate reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The position provides direct support to the Plant Controller and Plant Management Team and collaborates cross-functionally with multiple departments.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain operating and financial analyses to support plant operationsImprove accuracy of forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis systemsAnalyze plant operating data, including variances, earned hours, and key metricsSupport monthly forecasting and monitor performance against forecastsTrack CAPEX spending against approved capital budgetsPerform month-end close activities, journal entries, and standard report updatesCollaborate with Engineering to ensure Bill of Materials accuracyEnsure SOX control complianceParticipate in physical inventory processes, financial audits, and standard cost restatementsPerform additional duties as requiredQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting and/or financial analysisStrong proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial systemsExperience with standard costing in an ERP environmentExcellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work extended hours when neededPreferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and accounting systemsCPA or CMA certification (preferred, not required)Company DescriptionFounded in 2007, Purple Drive started as a tech solutions firm and grew into a full-service consulting and talent partner, helping businesses navigate complex technology challenges and access top expertise.Purple Drive was founded to deliver smarter technology solutions by combining deep expertise with an authentic human connection.
