About the Practice
Pure Joy Counseling & Consulting Services is a trauma-informed practice committed to providing high-quality, culturally responsive care to individuals and families. Our work integrates evidence-based practices with a relational and holistic approach, supporting clients in healing, growth, and emotional wellness.
We are currently expanding and seeking a licensed clinician who is looking for consistent referrals, flexibility, and a supportive, but autonomous, practice environment.
About This Role
This position is ideal for a clinician who:
- Is fully licensed in Pennsylvania (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
- Wants to focus on clinical work without the burden of building or managing a full practice
- Values flexibility and independence
- Remote or Hybrid options available
Duties
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, ACT, structural family therapy, or any other evidence-based modality.
- Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient assessments to inform treatment planning.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management techniques, ensuring client safety and stability if and when necessary, using your clinical judgment.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards using ICD-9, ICD-10 coding, and CPT coding where applicable.
- Manage your caseload and schedule independently.
- Deliver high-quality, ethical, and client-centered care.
Compensation
- Competitive split: 60/40 or 70/30 (clinician receives majority), based on experience
- Paid per completed session (based on collected revenue)
- Steady referral flow to support caseload growth
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted license in Pennsylvania (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
- Demonstrated proficiency in medical terminology, medical records management, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance.
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Commitment to timely documentation and ethical standards
- Reliable, professional, and communicative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for intake assessments, patient documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with trauma-informed care
- Experience with diverse populations
- Interest in integrative or holistic approaches
