Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Psychotherapist in Private Practice. The Psychotherapist will provide counseling services to clients, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including individual, family, and relationship challenges. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, providing therapy sessions, and documenting client progress. The role requires collaboration with clients to help them achieve their mental health and wellness goals using evidence-based methodologies.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health
- Expertise in Relationship Counseling with understanding of family and couples therapy
- Awareness and integration of relevant aspects of Medicine into mental health treatment
- State licensure or certification as a Psychotherapist, Counselor, or related role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with diverse clients
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in practice
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Experience working with telehealth platforms or providing remote therapy is a plus
