The Parts Counter Associate supports dealership operations by providing accurate, timely, and professional parts assistance to technicians, service personnel, and customers. Job Description:
Parts Sales & Customer Support
- Assist internal and external customers with identifying, sourcing, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories.
- Provide professional and responsive customer service in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication.
- Accurately process parts requests, invoices, and transactions in dealership systems.
- Communicate parts availability, pricing, and estimated delivery timelines clearly and professionally.
- Support a positive customer experience through timely follow-up and strong communication.
Inventory & Operational Support
- Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts inventory.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and proper storage procedures throughout the department.
- Participate in inventory counts, stock rotation, returns, and warranty processes as assigned.
- Support department organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with service personnel to help ensure technicians receive parts timely and accurately.
Team Collaboration & Professional Standards
- Collaborate effectively with service personnel, leadership, vendors, and dealership staff.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attendance record.
- Follow dealership procedures related to inventory management, safety, and operational standards.
- Participate in department meetings, training, and development opportunities as assigned.
- Support dealership standards related to professionalism, customer care, and workplace safety.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous automotive parts, inventory, customer service, retail, or dealership experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
