Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor warehouse operations to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, safety, and quality; ensure housekeeping is kept at optimal levels
- Ensure employees are organized and on time at the start of the shift
- Understand performance metrics for all warehouse activities
- Ensure proper stock rotation and organization in the warehouse for all categories of products
- Ensure Finished Goods are picked accurately, shipped in FEFO order with the correct lot codes, meet shelf-life agreements and quality standards
- Ensure all warehouse documentation and SAP transactions are completed correctly, always up to date, and accurate
- Ensure all materials are received accurately and in a timely fashion, and stored accurately and safely
- Communicate all operational, inventory, safety and quality issues to Management, QA, Customer Service and Production
- Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures by colleagues and outside contractors (GMPs, attendance, breaks, process procedures, health & safety, etc.); ensure equipment operates safely according to company food safety policies and procedures
- Generate accident reports for any employee accident or near miss within the plant and participate with the accident investigation
- Provide job training for employees as needed; maintain training records in collaboration with H&S Manager
- Provide hands on supervision to motivate warehouse workers to search for continuous process improvements
- Alleviate workers grievances through effective listening and firm actions.
- Track and regulate overtime to prevent misuse.
- Ensure performance criteria are integrated into daily activities
- Anticipate issues which may impact warehouse performance and addresses those issues effectively through appropriate actions
- Evaluate capex requirements together with manager to enhance warehouse performance.
- 3 years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a lead/supervisory role
- High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must have knowledge of warehouse management systems, replenishment methodology including bills of materials and routings, inventory control techniques, materials logistics and flow - FIFO, FEFO, and ERP/MRP practices and techniques.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills. Written and verbal Spanish is an advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels and builds partnerships with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational, planning, influence, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated and must be persuasive in presenting ideas and managing their implementation.

- Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $64,680 to $92,000.
- Additional compensation earned through a 5% targeted annual bonus. Amount based on personal and company performance
