What are the responsibilities and job description for the Puppy Wrangler / Dog Daycare Attendant position at Puppy Manners?
Love dogs? Enjoy staying active and working outdoors? We are looking for a reliable, upbeat team member to join our busy dog training and daycare team at Puppy Manners Family Dog School.
This is a hands-on, active position working with puppies and dogs in a beautiful farm setting. Duties include supervising puppy play groups, helping maintain safe and clean play areas, assisting trainers and staff, monitoring dog behavior, cleaning kennels and common areas, and helping create a positive experience for both dogs and clients.
This is NOT a sit-behind-a-desk job. You’ll be moving, cleaning, interacting with dogs, and working closely with a team throughout the day.
What we’re looking for:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player who communicates well with others
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable staying active and on your feet throughout shifts
- Calm and observant in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Genuine love for dogs and animals
Dog experience is welcome, but it is NOT required. We are happy to train the right person in our handling style and protocols. Some of our best team members started with little or no professional dog experience.
Bonus if you:
- Have kennel, daycare, farm, childcare, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Enjoy working outdoors year-round
- Take initiative and notice the little things without needing to be asked
About us:
Puppy Manners Family Dog School has been serving the community for many years and is known for our beautiful farm setting, strong team culture, and commitment to helping dogs and families succeed. No two days are ever the same here.
If you’re hardworking, dependable, and excited to work with dogs as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send a resume and a brief note telling us why you think you’d be a good fit.
