Dog Walker Seattle (King County)

Trails and Tails Dog Walking is looking for two new walkers to join our team! We do one on one walks only. Our goal is to walk the pups the same way that the owner walks them. We pay per walk, walkers on average make $33/hr.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dog Walker, based in Seattle, WA, serving the King County area. The Dog Walker will be responsible for ensuring dogs receive safe, engaging, and enjoyable walks. Duties include walking dogs of various breeds and sizes, managing behavioral needs, ensuring pets’ safety, and providing consistent care. You will also maintain open communication with pet owners, updating them on their pet’s well-being and any observations from the walks.

Requirements

1. CAR IS REQUIRED. Dogs will not go into your vehicle but you need a car to get from client to client
2. Must be within 10 minute drive of current hiring locations - Columbia City and/or North Capitol Hill/Eastlake
3. Must be able to walk with dog 4-8 hours as a time
4. Although we do not currently have a full schedule - we are looking for someone who has availability M-F 11-3:30 and interest (and patience) for us to build up a schedule
5. Functional Smart Phone
6. Must be able to pass background check
7. Must be able to provide three references
8. Professional dog experience with dogs is a bonus! But not required
