Description
Fairview Elementary, 2840 Highway 32 Krakow, WI 54137, is seeking a passionate and dedicated recess supervisor for our close-knit Title I school community for the 2026–2027 school year. Job Goal:
Ensure a safe, orderly, respectful, and inclusive environment for students by actively supervising the playground and other assigned areas. Maintain high visibility, monitor student behavior, provide guidance and redirection as needed, and reinforce school expectations to promote positive student interactions. Assist with student supervision and perform other duties as assigned by the building administration in support of the school's educational program.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to:

- Follow directions, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with students, staff, and administration.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment while supervising students.
- Actively monitor student activities, maintain high visibility, and move throughout assigned supervision areas.
- Provide direction, guidance, and redirection to students to support appropriate behavior and positive interactions.
- Follow school expectations, behavior systems, and safety procedures while supervising students.
- Respond appropriately to student needs, conflicts, and unexpected situations.
- Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a caring manner when working with students.
- Support students in developing appropriate social skills, problem-solving strategies, and respectful interactions.
- Adapt to changing situations and prioritize student safety and supervision needs.
- Work independently while also collaborating with teachers and other staff members.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by administration.
