Overview
Puget Sound ADU Builders is looking for a dependable, hardworking Construction Laborer to join our growing field team. This position supports all phases of residential construction with a primary focus on concrete, framing, and general carpentry, while assisting with site preparation, cleanup, material handling, and other construction tasks as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn multiple trades, and is looking to grow into a skilled carpenter, concrete finisher, or foreman.
Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting to ensure smooth and durable surfaces.
- Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures using blueprint specifications and schematics.
- Install rebar and metal studs according to technical drawings to reinforce concrete and framing elements.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks.
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics accurately to execute project requirements effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for framing, restoration, renovation, or general site preparation.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on-site.
Experience
- Prior construction experience with a focus on concrete work, framing, or general carpentry is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with concrete mixers, pumps, cutting tools, finishing tools, and scaffolding setup.
- Understanding of construction safety protocols including OSHA standards or equivalent local regulations.
- Skills in working with heavy machinery such as concrete pumps or mixers are advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics related to masonry, metal stud framing, or flooring installation.
- Proven track record of working efficiently on construction sites while adhering to safety guidelines.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
