Position Summary
The PACS/RIS/IT Program Management Specialist role focuses heavily on program and project management, process improvement, cross-functional communication, and operational leadership to ensure technology solutions, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and patient care standards.
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and proactive, with the ability to lead complex projects, coordinate across multiple departments, manage vendor relationships, and drive the successful execution of technology and workflow improvement initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and oversee imaging system-related projects, upgrades, and workflow initiatives
- Serve as a primary point of contact between clinical staff, vendors, hospitals, and internal departments
- Assist leadership with planning, implementation, and optimization of operational workflows
- Lead project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure successful completion of initiatives
- Support system integrations and operational improvements while collaborating with technical teams
- Identify workflow challenges and help develop effective process solutions
- Facilitate communication and training related to new workflows, system changes, and operational updates
- Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to systems and workflow processes
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards
- Support a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Strong project coordination, organizational, and leadership skills
- Experience working in healthcare, medical imaging, radiology, or clinical operations preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across departments
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
- Experience coordinating with vendors, clinical teams, and external partners
- Excellent interpersonal, training, and communication skills
- Familiarity with radiology workflows and imaging systems preferred
- Experience with Intelerad PACS/RIS/DICOM is a plus
- Reliable transportation and Nevada automobile insurance
